Canadian Airborne Brotherhood
The Brotherhood Web Site consists of a Nominal Roll of all jumpers from
the Canadian Armed Forces. This is not a club or an association. It does
not cost a cent. You will find that there are all types of men and women
who have jumped from perfectly good aircraft.(Army-Navy-Airforce)
The Nominal Roll is for contacting purposes only. If you would like your
name included on the Nominal Roll, send us an email including name, city,
phone number, jump units or AQ. Also your original Regt/Corp.

of what is happening. i.e.; reunions, news articles etc. This comes from
the membership. If you have something of interest. Please send it in. The
Last Post is; In memory of those not fallen but have taken their last jump.

Note; I can use all the help I can get in locating jumpers. I would like
to thank the Rep’s of the SAR, Cdn AB Regt, 1st Can Para, FSSF/DB

Jim Steed and his Army
Warrant Officer JE Steed CD*
Born 1938 in Windsor, ON. Joined the Army (RCOC) in 1954 at the age of
16 (Soldier Apprentice) and retired in 1984. (30 yrs) I then competed
for a job as a civil servant and did 10 more years for DND.
I have been married to my wife Marlene for 50 years, have two sons (both
serving) and two grandchildren.
I am a member of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association, Airborne Regiment
Association of Canada and the Canada Peacekeeping Veteran's Association.
In recognition of my service to my country. I am the recipient of the
Special Service Medal with NATO and Alert bar's, Canadian Peacekeeping
Service Medal, United Nations in Cyrus Medal, United Nations in Egypt
Medal and the Canadian Decoration
with rosette.
My tours over the years included a number across Canada; RCOC School
Montreal, 27 COD London, 6 AOD London, CFS Alert, CFB Petawawa, CFS Masset
and CFB Edmonton with the Canadian Airborne Regt and CFB Kingston. Overseas
tours included NATO in Germany Fort Henry (Soest) CFB Baden Baden, CFB
Lahr and UN in Egypt and Cyprus.
Chief Warrant Officer KA Steed CD* - (Son)
Joined in 1978 as a Wpns Tech (L) and served 25 years. His tours in Canada
were CFB Borden (instructor), CFB Shilo, CFB Cornwallis, CFB Calgary,
and CFB Petawawa with the Canadian Airborne Regt, CFB Edmonton and DASPM
in Hull. Overseas tours included NATO in Germany and injured in Croatia
and served with the UN in the Golan Heights. Retired from the regular
forces and joined the Reserves. Stationed in Reddeer AB
Captain R Light CD* - (Daughter-In-Law)
Joined the Cadets in 1974 and became a CIC officer in 1984. She took the
British Refresher Jump Course in Aldershot, UK in 1991. She was the CO
of 2919 Grey and Simcoe Forresters in Barrie, ON, 1944 EME Cadet Corps
in Creemore, ON and 2551 PPCLI Airborne Cadet Corps in Edmonton, AB. She
is currently on the SHR list in Edmonton, AB.
Cpl. JT Steed CD* - (Son)
Joined the RCR's in 1982 (Infantry) and is still serving. His tours in
Canada were CFB Gagetown and CFB Petawawa. He served 8 years with the
Canadian Airborne Regt. This soldier served as a Peacekeeper with two
tours in Cyprus one each in Bosnia, Croatia (injured), Kosovo and Somalia.
OH CANADA WE STAND ON GUARD FOR THEE
The Steed Family has proudly served our country for over 100 years and
is still serving. PROUD TO BE CANADIAN.
